"We're an organization that really, when it's all said and done, we design and engineer commercial kitchens. From concept to completion. We are involved in the design process, and we consult on equipment selection, and we procure the equipment, and we warehouse it before install, and then we install it for you. So we had a vision to grow our business and in doing that we had to get our message out to a national platform to share our value services to the right audience. So in doing so we needed a strategy, a marketing plan which included having a good website.
Before we started working with Marketpath, C&T had a very static, simple website. It was four pages. The back end was, um, more coding which I am not proficient in and so it was very complicated if I wanted to make any changes uh on the website. And now it's very straightforward and it's very easy to use and uh it's almost like a word document and um now it's over 120 pages.
It's very dynamic, and it's very easy to create new pages, which is why we have so many pages now. Marketpath offered a unique proposition to us. We could control and manage our content, which is important to us. Their software and the Marketpath CMS platform is very powerful but very easy to use.
So we had no strategy for SEO (search engine optimization) prior to working with Marketpath. Marketpath took the time to understand our business, our business strategy, and our goals. So, Marketpath did all of the keyword research, in terms of what terms were being searched that people, that would make sense for people looking for a company like ours. We apply the keywords that they provided into our blog posts and into the various articles that we write. Marketpth developed a great system to help us qualify our audience. So we are currently receiving a tremendous amount of requests through the website from the audience we're seeking - architects, the end users, the general contractors; those are the folks that we're interested in interacting with. And now that's the audience that's coming to us."
