Business Development Manager


Marketpath, Inc., a marketing technology software company, is seeking an experienced, business development professional. Working in a fast-paced office environment, and some occasional travel, the ideal candidate will have 3+ years of business development experience, preferrably with a Saas product. Candidate must be goal driven, have excellent verbal and written communication, and have an understanding of basic digital marketing and web content management systems.


The business development manager role has the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with digital marketing agencies and other prospective customers
  • Promote the use of Marketpath software products and professional services to digital marketing agencies and other prospective customers
  • Conduct regular demos, group seminars and webinars
  • Represent and promote Marketpath at trade-shows and conferences
  • Help discover and build new market opportunities
  • Maintain active social media communications and other online forums



Ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years + of business development or sales related experience
  • CRM experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly master web-based software
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general business and marketing principals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to learn new web-based systems for content implementation
