Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a mid-level experienced jQuery, ASP.Net, and SQL developer to join our team. Successful candidates will take part in building a new web-based product and must have a thorough understanding of three-tier web application development.

Essential Functions and Duties

Develop ASP.Net web applications using C# and ASP.Net
UI Development using HTML, Javascript, jQuery, and CSS
Database development using Microsoft SQL Server 2008, T-SQL, and stored procedures
Ability to work in a team environment
Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

3-5 years experience with web application and SQL development
3-5 years object-oriented design experience
Skilled in use of SQL/T-SQL in a Microsoft SQL Server Database environment
Proficient with SQL Server Database environment
Demonstrated experience and fundamental understanding of SDLC best practices
Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering and documentation
Ability to prioritize projects and multi-task
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong oral and written communication

Preferred

Ability to mentor, lead and command respect of technical staff (both development and networking), IT leadership and business unit staff
Excellent customer facing skills and a genuine desire to learn and understand the business
A willingness to adapt software analysis, design and construction to support requirements, project management and testing processes
Ability to apply architectural design principles and practices in such a way that it strikes a balance between business need and technical need
Client is seeking a candidate who is experienced with both the user, middle, and data tier
